Education and Work Experience
Belén Vives is a highly skilled and passionate composer, orchestrator, and arranger specializing in instrumental music, with a particular focus on orchestral, electronic, and hybrid genres. She is proud to have graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2018, where she honed her craft and developed a deep understanding of music composition.
Throughout her career, Belén Vives has had the privilege of working on numerous notable projects in the film, TV series, and commercial industries. One of her most outstanding achievements includes serving as a Composer Assistant for renowned composer Zeltia Montes, contributing to films such as Bird Box Barcelona. This experience allowed her to sharpen her skills and gain invaluable insights into the world of film scoring.
In addition, Belén Vives had the opportunity to compose two original piece in collaboration with the Hemisfèric, Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciéncies. This project showcased her ability to create immersive and captivating compositions that transport audiences into otherworldly experiences.
One of her proudest accomplishments as a composer is the creation of the Anthem of the Spanish Academy of Diplomacy. This project allowed her to showcase her versatility and adaptability in composing music that carries the essence and values of important institutions.
Furthermore, Belén Vives has served as an orchestrator for acclaimed composer Lucas Vidal, contributing to the realization and enhancement of his musical vision. This collaboration has strengthened her understanding of orchestration techniques and expanded her creative capabilities.
